Blogger LinkUp
You’ve probably heard the advice about guest posts for increasing traffic and rank. It makes sense. If you get others to provide informative content on your blog, it’s likely that some of your guest’s readers will pay a visit to your blog, and the links can lead to increased Page Rank. That’s all well and good, but many of us aren’t really sure how to go about finding guest bloggers whose content and voice mesh with our blogs. And let’s face it, as moms, we don’t have a ton of extra time to go scouring the internet looking for fabulous folks to contribute to our blog. If you’re like me, you barely have time to post to your blog on a semi-regular basis. What about if you’d lke to be a guest blogger in order to promote yourself, your service, or your business? That’s time consuming as well. I’ve recently come across a site that could be the answer we’ve been looking for.
The Solution
Blogger LinkUp is a free service that matches bloggers with people who are willing to guest post on their blogs. It also allows experts to find blogs that might be appropriate for their niche, providing a promotional outlet for them. It’s a win-win situation!
The Process
Signing up is easy. Just provide your name and e-mail address at the Bloggers LinkUp homepage. Then wait for your subscription confirmation to arrive in your inbox. Once you click the link to confirm, you’re subscribed. You can request guest posts in specific subject areas or offer yourself as a guest blogger for others. You’ll receive regular e-mail updates listing requests, and those interested in connecting with you can contact you directly.
Other Advantages
PR folks can also connect with bloggers to get their product out there for review, and Blogger LinkUp is a perfect resource for journalists who need sources for their articles. What a convenient way for agencies, media, and bloggers to connect!
