We parents are pretty bad about taking time for ourselves. Between working and taking care of the family, there isn’t much time left for a little indulgence. That may be why I was especially excited to get this month’s shipment of Green Mountain Coffee’s Cafe Escapes line. The line includes dark chocolate hot cocoa (hello!), milk chocolate hot cocoa, cafe mocha and chai latte.

I had to try the dark chocolate hot cocoa first, being that I am a fanatic about dark chocolate. It was rich and delicious. I am also not that big on chai, but I was surprised how much I liked the chai latte. Truly, all four flavors were delicious.

I like to go up to our roof deck with a cup of coffee and a good book, and smell the salt air!
I leave the house to escape! Just going somewhere by myself where no one will be asking me 10,000 questions for an hour or so is wonderful! And if I can get a nice hot herbal tea or hot cocoa wherever I go it is even better!
