DIY Shoe Store
Zappos.com is my new best friend. It has forever changed one of my perpetual mommyhood chores, and I owe that change all to my husband.
If you aren’t familiar with Zappos, it’s a website that sells shoes – lots and lots of shoes – and they offer free shipping both ways. How great is that?!
It’s no exaggeration when I say Craig has ordered $2,000 worth of shoes at one time, and sent back $1,800 worth.
You’re probably thinking, “What?!?! He ordered two grand worth of SHOES?!? My husband hasn’t owned two grand worth of shoes in his ENTIRE LIFE.”
The difference between your guy and mine is that mine is a metrosexual. An eyebrow-tweezing, pore-cleansing fashionista.
But his high-maintenance, diva tendencies prove beneficial every once in a while. Like when he suggested,
“Instead of dragging the girls from store to store to try on shoes, why don’t you just order a bunch from Zappos? It would make your life a lot easier.”
Duh.
So I did it. And it was awesome. And I’m totally doing it again.
