eebees adventures

It is a great time for military families to move overseas. Our needs are being met more thoroughly with more streamlined PCS moves (although still not perfect), better orientations upon arriving at a foreign post, stronger Family Readiness Groups that help ease the transition and a greater understanding of how to translate our lives here in the states over to a foreign country.

The addition of eebee’s adventures to AFN Family on overseas bases comes at a perfect time. American Forces Network (AFN), the main television broadcast network that serves over a million American families stationed overseas, has partnered with Every Baby Company, llc, to add an an innovative infant-toddler series, titled eebee’s adventures. The show will join the AFN lineup starting in the fall of 2009. With soaring birthrates on U.S. military bases all over the world, there is a greater demand to provide quality television for infants and toddlers.

And lets face it. Sometimes TV is the only time we can do the dishes, fold the laundry, run a couple of miles on the treadmill, or simply take a break. Military moms deserve breaks more than anyone in this world due to the constant stress from deployments, being single parents, and being dumped in foreign countries and finding out two weeks in that their husband is deploying in a month. Eebee’s adventures just takes one less thing off of our military mom minds. Quality programming for our babies, without having to buy or pop in DVD’s. Its simple, but purely magical.

Eebees adventures is about a playful baby puppet that interacts with real babies and real adults that engage in real-world activities with everyday objects in everyday situations. It helps children learn through normal every day activities, and shows parents how to make everyday actions educational. It is a win-win for parents and babies.

According to the website, eebee’s adventures are:

  • Active
  • Human
  • Language Rich
  • Musical
  • Gentle
  • Simple
  • Practical

Here are just some of the wonderful eebee moments our children will benefit from:

  • Dressing up
  • Containers and little stuff
  • Pouring and scooping
  • Making music
  • Paper play
  • Balls, ramps, rolling, and sliding,
  • toddler obstacle courses
  • Building, nesting, and stacking

Every segment explores the following:

  • What the baby is doing
  • The importance of the moment
  • Encourages joining the eebee moment

Every Baby Company, llc., was created in 2004 and has since won over twenty awards including the National parenting Center Seal of Approval, the Parent’s Choice Gold, and the NAPPA’s Gold Seal Award. It is also a favorite amongst mommy bloggers.
