Being a mother to six, and three of those being boys, the bathroom is not my friend. I know, you think having girls is a nightmare, the fight for face time with your mirror, the hair dryer wars, etc. Oh no, friends, not at all.

The bathroom becomes a daily war when you have boys that can’t hit the toilet to save their lives. It isn’t just a middle-of-the-night thing, or a gotta-go-no-time-to-aim thing. It’s an all-the-time, mom-doesn’t-mind-cleaning thing. Only I do mind, especially stale pee puddles under the toilet that reek and make me want to run crying form my own home. Ick!

Enter the Flippee Toilet Shield, my new savior. Cue super hero music. Or violins with angels. Or Santa. Or something.

Flippee Toilet ShieldNo really, it’s the answer to every mother-of-boys’ prayers in the shape of a plastic-U with suction cups, this baby slaps on your toilet and flips up and down to pee (get it now? FLIP-PEE??). The Flippee conforms to the toilet seat’s shape, guarding the wall and toilet lid from splatter and/or misguided attempts to hit the toilet, so that we have less to clean up. Hallelujah!

To use, simple affix the suction cups to the side of the bowl while the Flippee is upright, so that the grooves that are cut-out conform to the bowl just right. The Flippee can be left upif you’ve got eager pee-ers that can’t wait (especially in newly trained potty-trainers) or you can keep it in the flipped down position for them to flip up when neded, your choice. I find, especially in those young ones who have a hard time, leaving it up is best, especially at night time.

Another thing I like about the Flippee is that it makes a noise if they’re hitting it, which immediately lets them (and me) know they’re not aiming properly. Definitely helpful!

Crazy Adventures in Parenting stamp of approvalAll in all, super product, easy to clean, well-thought out, and a huge help. Now the only thing left to do for me is to get two more Flippees for my other two bathrooms! Worthy of my “Crazy Family of 8″ Stamp of Approval!

If you’ve got boys, try the Flippee and never have to worry about those smelly pee puddles again! Get it here!
