HTC Touch Diamond Pros
This smartphone sports beautiful 2.8-inch, 680×480 pixel resolution touch screen. It is clear and easy-to-read. It also bears a directional pad with soft keys. This feature surprised me because I think it’s unnecessary with a touch screen phone but my husband liked being able to scroll through contacts like and mp3 player.
Text messaging is done via the touch screen QWERTY keyboard. It is a little awkward because it is above the directional pad. This phone has a 3.2-megapixel camera with up to 4x zoom and video recording. The images and videos are normal phone quality.
This phone is outfitted with Windows Mobile 6.1. This operating system includes ActiveSync that works with Microsoft Outlook. There is also the option of using Direct Push via Exchange Server. The internet browser is handy for looking up information or reading blogs.
HTC Touch Diamond Cons
This phone is a poor competitor for the iPhone and other touch screen phones. The shell is fragile, the screen sensitivity is poor and the battery life is subpar. The internet was slow no matter if I used Verizon’s system or Wi-fi.
