In My Makeup Bag
I thought that it would be kind of interesting for everyone to share what they have in their beauty or makeup bag. I tend to try a ton of different products so the chances are, what is in my bag today, may not be in my bag next week. Although I do tend to hang onto some things a little longer than others.
Here goes:
Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base powder is what I usually wear every day. I love this stuff. My skin looks darn near flawless and it even has sun protection in it which is always a bonus.
Next Burt’s Bees Beeswax Shimmer Lip Balm in 5 Assorted Shades
is another staple in my makeup bag. I usually have three to four tubes in various shades all of the time. Watermelon is my current Summer fave.
My recent cool find is the Jane Iredale Under-Eye Concealer CircleDelete #3 (Gold/Brown). This concealer is seriously one of the best ever inventions known to woman. This stuff takes off years off sleep deprivation and makes me look like I am awake. Most of the time. I love it and I frequently get asked what I use for concealer. This is of course, after complaing for hours on end that I never get any or enough sleep.
Mascara. This still tends to be the bane of my existence. Does a perfect mascara exist? I even hear that many makeup artists use several different types each time as well. CoverGirl Lashblast Mascara is my current mascara. I am pretty happy with it. It lifts and separates just as promised. Of course my eyelashes never quite look like those in the commercial but I like it.
I have been experimenting with eye shadows lately and really love the creme eyeshadows. Here is what I am thinking of trying next Vincent Longo Creme Powder Eye Shadow.
Add a few eye and eyebrow pencils such as the Maybelline Expert Eyes Brow & Eye Pencil plus the MAC Eye Kohl and then you pretty much have my entire makeup bag.
