Just for Mom?
I was sitting here, racking my brain for content. “Just for mom… Just for mom… What on earth can I wrote about that is just for mom?”
Then I asked myself, “Is there anything that is JUST for mom?”
My pens and paper and glue and staples are not just for me.
My make-up is not just for me.
My potty time is not just for me.
My shoes are not just for me.
The laundry is not just mine.
Meal-planning is not just for me.
Peace and quiet – HA!
My time is not just for me.
Just for mom… but you know what IS just for mom?
Gifts of dandelion blooms.
Gifts of rocks (jewels).
Gifts of the cute ways our kids say things… like “Wolliepop.”
Surprise moments of quiet.
Surprise kisses and snuggles.
Stolen moments when you overhear your little one singing with all her heart because she is young enough to be crazy-in-love with horses or unicorns or princesses.
Being called, “Mama… or Mommy, or even Mom.”
That is just for us, too.
