Last-Minute Gifts to Buy Online
I’ve been faced with last-minute gift shopping, and it’s stressful, especially for someone who hates shopping (me!). So, whenever I find myself in this predicament, I boot up the computer and turn to a few of my favorite online shopping sites where I can grab a gift or two quickly and relatively painlessly.
Here are a few of my favorite last-minute gifts to give (and receive) — all available online.
Gift Cards
There are lots of places to buy gift cards, but all are not created equal. Amazon gift cards rank at the top of my list because of the product selection and various delivery options — email, print, Facebook and snail mail.
Products with Free and Fast Shipping
When you need a physical gift to give, and you’re shopping online last-minute, you may find that you’d have to pay two or three times the cost of the gift, just to have it shipped in time. Unless you find a gift that has free expedited shipping options. Check out these Amazon items with free one-day shipping, and if you’re shopping elsewhere, make sure you pass through RetailMeNot to check for coupon codes and great deals.
MP3s
Whether you know exactly what music your recipient would love, or you give them a gift card to choose their own, music is a great last-minute gift idea. Try Amazon’s MP3 Gift Guide or iTunes Gifts.
Kindle Books
I love my Kindle, and everyone I know who has one is just as addicted as I am, so Kindle books make the perfect last-minute gift for the Kindle-lover on your list. Plus, Amazon now makes it easy to give Kindle books to anyone with an email address.
Flowers
It may be cliche, but sometimes flowers are the perfect gift. And they’re perfect for the last-minute shopper, too. Try JustFlowers. They are one of the largest online florists and they deliver the same day to the USA and Canada. A win-win!
