Laundry Tree SoapNuts Review
Laundry Tree SoapNuts are completely natural way to do your laundry. Now you can clean your clothes with out chemicals of any kind.
Laundry Tree SoapNuts Pros
We have been using all-natural detergents for a couple of years now. I had heard about Soapnuts from friends but I was hesitant to try them. Nuts in my laundry is a strange concept to me.
When I opened the package, I was surprised by the scent. They definitely smell like soap. They are a little bit sticky.
The usage process is simple:
- Pull a 3 to 5 nuts out of the package and transfer them to them cotton bag.
- Close the bag, apply a few drops of essential oils.
- Place in the washer on top of your clothes.
- Turn on the washer and go!
We have been using them for ywo weeks now and can’t tell any difference from our previous detergent. These work very well for my dirty kids dirty clothes. I like that it is obvious that they are natural.
Laundry Tree SoapNuts Cons
The smell may be surprising when you first use them. Don’t worry, that scent washed away. The essential oils work the same way. The have a strong scent when applying but it just leaves your clothes smelling fresh.
How do SoapNuts work?
The outer shell of the soapnut contains saponin, a natural substance known for its ability to cleanse and wash. (That’s what makes them so GREAT for cleaning your laundry!) And here’s a cool fact: soapnuts aren’t a new concept! They have been used to clean all kinds of fabric for centuries, and are only now gaining popularity in the Americas and Europe as a powerful, yet natural alternative to modern detergents.
Soapnuts are the fruit of a tree (Sapindus Mukorossi), found primarily in India, Indonesia, and Nepal, and they are an EXCELLENT alternative to traditional laundry detergents.
They are 100%, totally natural. They are organically grown and are free of harsh chemicals, so they are incredibly gentle on clothes AND skin. They are especially great for those with sensitive skin — including babies and those that suffer from allergies, eczema, and psoriasis! They’re totally biodegradeable, so they’re better for the environment than regular detergent, and they’re antimicrobial, so they’re even good for septic and greywater systems!
