Pinterest Profile Linkup

Pinterest is fun, but only if you have friends and followers.

I decided to make it easier for us to all find people on Pinterest. You can follow me at Pinterest.com/kelby. Add your own profile below in the linky (which you can also post on your own site if you do a blog post about Pinterest and want to share some profiles for people to follow).

Just be sure to make the title your name on Pinterest, and the URL the deep link to your profile page (format: http://pinterest.com/YOURUSERNAME).

Edited to add: The linky seems to have issues pulling directly from the Pinterest site for an image, so I recommend using the upload from computer option to insert a headshot of yourself. Also, I changed the settings to randomize the order each time this linky loads so everyone gets a shot at getting lots of new followers. As of less than 24 hours of publishing, there have been 850 clicks on profiles here. Amazing! If you are new to Pinterest, also be sure to check out my 5 Tips for Pinterest Beginners.

I have been on Pinterest for quite a while(on very early in their beta) and it’s one of my favorite sites for a variety of reasons. The main reason I love it is because I’m a very visual person, and it’s easy to enjoy, sort, link, and share great ideas and pictures. It’s enhanced my friendships I’ve made on other social networking sites as well.

Working in the SEO industry, Pinterest has been an amazing resource. Even though the links are no-followed now, it’s a great way to enhance a link portfolio. I’ve had some great success for traffic for a bunch of my clients.

Thanks Nicole! I am showing pin links using dofollow (both with No Do Follow plugin and with examination of the code source, just FYI).

Just joined Pinterest – this is awesome, thanks for setting up the Linky however, I clicked on the Like? link for people’s profile but they haven’t been added for some reason. Anyone else having that problem? Thanks.

I don’t think the “like” is connected to Pinterest. You have to click through to the profile and then choose to either follow the person and all their boards or choose individual boards to follow. Hope that helps!

So great that you created this list… I was just about to make one, so I’ll embed yours on our site instead.

Janice and I held off for a long time on using Pinterest b/c we were so worried it would consume too much of our time, but we finally weakened. It is fabulous and we are now huge fans.

Thanks for the linky! I’ve been working on a project to help people find fellow pinners with similar interests and tastes more easily. It’s a Pinterest directory called WePin.org and it’s currently in public beta. I hope some of you find it useful!

I'm new to pinterest, not even a month user yet, but it's helping me with my millions of little saves on the computer desktop to look neater, instead of saving it off, I "pin it". Hubby will be proud! Hi Kelby! you can find me at : http://pinterest.com/drochlin/.
