Review – Sweet Spud Infant Bodysuit

My 8-month-old son just hit a growth spurt, so I was excited to get this Sweet Spud bodysuit in the mail! This super cute bodysuit is from Sweet Spud which has a line of infant and toddler clothes with big messages. For my son, I chose the quote from Gandhi, “Where there is love, there is life,” with a graphic of two giraffes making a heart.

Here is what I like:

• The bodysuit is very soft, even before washing
• The company includes a note in the packaging that educates the customer about the benefits of using organic cotton (which they do).
• The color of the fabric was a pretty, soft cream color (which won’t show sweet potato stains quite as starkly as white does).
• The color of the graphic is vibrant and clear.
• The bodysuit is tagless.

Here is what I don’t like:

• The size ranges are pretty large. I ordered a 12-18 month, which is too big for my son, but the smaller range would have been too tight. It’s not something I can’t work with, though!

I love this soft, sweet bodysuit, and it’s great for layering. My son won’t be too hot with a jacket on (which sometimes happens here in South Texas)! If you’re interested in organic and eco-friendly clothing with wonderful quotes and sweet graphics, you’ll love Sweet Spud!
