I have come across several great fashion blogs lately. A few have really stuck out in my mind and I have begun to subscribe to them plus read them daily. I have really begun to prefer blogs for fashion information instead of the larger websites as I really enjoy getting to know more about the person behind the blog.

Here is one of my new favorites:

365 Days of Mom Fashion Advice

How does a mother of four boys under 4 manage to write a fashion advice post every day of the year? I still haven’t figured that one out yet but former NYC fashion maven Audrey McClelland must really know how to multi-task. Just reading her bio made me tired. Audrey does it all.

“Drawing on her background/inspiration in fashion (and college classes), each Friday night Audrey hosts a BlogTalkRadio.com show called “Feel Good Fashion,” as well as a LIVE MomTV.com video stream show on Sunday nights called “Audrey’s Fashion Sense.” She contributes weekly to the Blissful Style channel on BlissfullyDomestic.com.”

I have read through the majority of her blog the past few days and I found some great information. As a mother, the fashion aspect of my life kind of falls to the wayside as I get busy. I struggle with that every day. Audrey makes it easy and she even answers questions from her readers.

Audrey McClelland gives a very ‘real’ feel to her blog which adds to her credibility as a fashionista and a blogger. She’s chic yet down-to-Earth. Stylish yet practical. She rarely suggests couture although I suspect, as a former New Yorker, that she still likes high end brands. What girl doesn’t?

It is refreshing to hear fashion advice that is actually doable. I can go and buy a $40 shirt that works with my body type. However, there aren’t that many mothers or women that I know who have a spare $400 for a shirt. Audrey is unpretentios and truly, very helpful.

One of her recent posts has her vlogging the experience of making over some local Rhode Island bloggers with TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. In another post, Audrey shares the perfect Post Pregnancy Fashions.

The 365 Days of Mom Fashion Advice began just this year on January 1st. This is huge undertaking and a great read. Audrey McClelland is definitely worth the follow.
