Talk of the Parent Blogosphere, Cool Stuff at CES Edition
The big news this week comes from Las Vegas, as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) dazzled with smartphones, tablets, televisions, gadgets and gizmos galore! Our very own Kelby Carr attended CES, along with Heather Solos and Grace Duffy, and you could follow the CES buzz here at Type-A Parent. Kelby filled us in on the cool Parent Tech premiering at CES, Heather gave us an insider view of the show through photos and Grace previewed the ‘Hotness’ at CES, including Lenova’s IdeaPad Yoga laptop/tablet hybrid, which I desperately want in case anyone is looking to buy me a gift for Valentine’s Day.
(As a reminder, talk of the Parent Blogosphere will run on Mondays now… obviously not early on Mondays when I’m in charge, but still… Mondays! So if you would like to submit a post, it should have run sometime between January 9 and 15 (see the linky below).
More posts from the parent blogosphere on CES last week:
- Paul Bryan posted The Best of Mommy Tech at Busy Mommy Media
- Cecily @CecilyK posted Mom Bloggers Head to CES in Vegas
- Amy at Blogging Angels @BloggingAngels posted CES Wrap-Up with TechMama, a terrific summary of the week’s coolest gadgets with video links.
- Samantha posted Top 3 Gadgets for Kids at CES 2012, and I am in love with the Crayola app!
CES wasn’t all that parent bloggers could talk about. Here are a few other gems from the past week:
- Jessica @JessicaGottlieb posted Lego: The Message for Girls is… Sad in Lavender
- Motherhood Uncensored @uablogger created Who’s Responsible for the Beyonce Hospital Debacle? We Are. Admit it… you secretly love the baby’s name, don’t you?
- Lisa at Workout Mommy @workoutmommy shares some great advice with Picking a Personal Trainer that is Right for You.
What did I miss? Be sure to share a link to your post from this week. The only requirements are:
- You should be a parent who blogs
- The post must have been published between January 9 and 15, 2012
- You MUST use the permalink to the post itself, not your blog’s homepage URL
Add your post below (and feel free to grab the code to place the linky on your site if you would like):

By day, I'm an editor, a writer and the mama of three girls, one of whom was adopted from Vietnam in 2007. By night, I'm a mama in pajamas and can be found lounging on the couch in my bunny slippers with a glass of wine (red, of course!).
