The Cute Things Grandkids Do
Do you think your grandkids are the cutest things in the whole wide world?! I do! Those little ones are amazing! They are smart, funny, courageous, bold, shy, a handful and just pure joy. My oldest grandson is 2 and says and does the cutest things in the world. I’m sure your grandchildren do super cute things too and we’d all like to hear about them, so feel free to leave a comment.
One of the cutest things my grandson just started saying is “I love you” sincerely! The other day we were over at my daughter’s and E-dude was just walking by and out of the blue says, “I love you Nana”. My heart melted! Then when were playing a game at the table, he got up in his mama’s lap and says, “I love you Mama”. Awww!!! It’s so sweet! I wish I could describe the sincerity in his voice, but you’ll just have to take my word for it.
E-dude is very smart and social, so he talks very well for his age. He is making complete sentences and absorbing everything we do like a sponge. We are their greatest teachers. At night time, my daughter told me that he will lay in bed and say all our names, everyone he knows, and say goodnight to all of us. I’m sure it’s a ploy to keep from going to sleep, but hey, it’s still cute! When we were all sitting around the table eating pizza, he pointed at each one of us and named us all. It amazes me how well he remembers people even when he hasn’t seen someone in a while. Those grandbabies are simply amazing; I love watching them grow and learn!
My great niece, who is practically my grandchild, is one and she is so funny! She is just starting to add more words to her vocabulary. The funniest thing she does is call her mom by her first name. It must be because my niece is a single mom and everyone else calls her by her first name, as opposed to Mom.
What are some of the cute things your grand kids say or do? We’d love to hear about them. It’s a good chance to brag about those adorable little extensions of your own kids!
