In an ever growing digital world, it is our duty as parents to ensure that our children understand the implications of the information they share online.  These implications will follow them throughout their lives and their careers, in both a positive and negative light.  We must equip them with the knowledge to carefully share the right parts of their lives, we are further equipping for future success.  This week on Social Media Moms, Kadi wrote about how to raise socially savvy children in this modern world.

Let's take a look at what else is going on in the blogosphere:

Want to be more productive?  Of course you do!  Celene from A Mom Entrepreneur shares three simple tricks to being more productive in your life.

The Olympics breed country pride and inspire people all over the world, see how children everywhere are being inspired and behaving in a very Olympic manner on Better in Bulk and enter to win a chance for a $40 gift card.

Have you ever had the need to stand up for your child?  Emily from Colorado Moms recently did and she's written tips for how to advocate your child without coming off negatively.

It's no secret, times they are achanging, and with them, the roles we take on as parents are also evolving.  Jessica from Foune the Marbles examined the changing role of Dads in the lives of their families, careers, and in the marketplace.

In a world full of loneliness, friends are everything.  Dresden reminds us how even when we're miles away, friends can always be there for each other and show their love and support for one another.

So tell me what I missed! Share your best posts from the last week in our linky!  The only requirements are:

  • You should be a parent who blogs
  • The post must have been published between August 3 to 10, 2012
  • You MUST use the permalink to the post itself, not your blog’s homepage URL

As Chief Blogging Mama at High Impact Mom, Amanda encounters all sorts of madness as she publishes High Impact Mom, corrals two busy daughters, manages a successful hyper-local digital marketing company, attends college full-time, and occasionally even finds time for a date with her husband. Amanda is a social media addict, a compulsive volunteer, and a hard rocking-Jane Austen reading devoted mama...she might also a little bit crazy. Follow her on Twitter at @highimpactmom.
