It is that time of year people, the time to bring joy to your favorite sports blogger.
That is totally not what you thought I was going to say, was it? And yet, here I am, because you know there is a huge sports fan in your life. It might be your husband or your daughter or me (my birthday is in a few weeks) and it is the season of giving. I asked some of my favorite sports bloggers what gifts they had on their lists and these are a few of the things we came up with.
A Fathead
Don’t laugh. Okay, you can laugh a little bit, but Fatheads are awesome.
You can get almost any player in any sport, or you can just go with a big logo, or many logos.
You can find Fatheads of all of your favorite players at Fathead.com.
A Subscription to ESPN Insider
Do you need a quick gift for a sports lover? A one year subscription to ESPN Insider and ESPN the Magazine is only $39.95 for a year and you can order it online and have it delivered immediately.
ESPN Insider gives your favorite sports blogger he inside scoop on all of the latest sports news as well as in depth articles that you cannot get on the free ESPN.com and access to ESPN Recruiting Nation. Plus, ESPN the magazine to their doorstep every two weeks. This is such an easy gift to give and such a cool thing to receive.
Apple TV
Apple TV is cool no matter who you are. It costs $ 99 and you can access all sorts of music, movies, TV shows and other programming and even live stream Netflix from it. Fantastic. Why do sports bloggers want Apple TV? Because of MLB.TV, because of NHL Game Center in HD and because you can get NBA games on demand.
RIGHT?
You don’t need to buy this gift for me. I already own two. One for each of my televisions.
One Uninterrupted Game
This is for the parent sports blogger in your life and this is 100% free. It is a perfect gift for a child to give or if you are on a very tight budget.
Write out a coupon for your loved one to watch one sporting event of his or her choice completely uninterrupted. Then make sure this actually happens. Don’t ask them what they want for dinner or how their day was, don’t tell them about your trip to the store, don’t make them answer the phone or the door. Don’t let the kids in the room at all.
This sounds like heaven to me.
Cool Gear With Your Team’s Logo On It
Most sports fans already have a jersey of their favorite player (if they don’t, go buy them that, they want that), but they might not have one of these.

St. Louis Cardinals Watch – $69.95 at Yahoo! Sports Shop
Or one of these.

A Notre Dame Fighting Irish Spatula – $ 24.95 at CBS Sports Shop and perfect for tailgating.
Or two of these.

Washington Capitals Slippers – $24.99 at shop.nhl.com
There are so many options here in so many price ranges. Trust me when I saw that I pretty much want anything with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo on it.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Recliner – $699.99 from the NFL Shop.
Your favorite sports blogger probably feels the same way, but probably about a different team.
Tickets, Ticket, Tickets
The best gift you could possibly give any real sports fan is a ticket to a game.
Well, two tickets. You don’t have to go to the game with them, but don’t make them go alone.
If you don’t know exactly when your sports fan is free or if this is a sports blogger that you don’t know very well – maybe you are a secret Santa or in some sort of gift exchange and you aren’t sure what sport they love the most you can always buy a gift certificate to Ticketmaster or StubHub.
Hint: When buying gift cards, check approximate prices. $40 won’t even get you one ticket to an NFL game, but can get you some decent seats to a college baseball game.
I hope this helps you find the perfect gift for your perfect sports blogger. Did I mention my birthday is in December?
These are all my honest suggestions, none of these are sponsored or solicited, but the Fathead.com. is an affiliate link. All photos are from the website of the suggested gift.

Sarah Bockenek Braesch
That recliner would look SWEET in my new living room.
Kimberly Jordan Daboo
I love this list, but lumps of coal if anyone shows up at my house with a Tampa Bay recliner. Or anything with pinstripes.
Sarah Bockenek Braesch
That recliner is awesome and you know it.
Kendra O'Daniel Thiel
I'm just going to send this to anyone who asks what I want for Christmas. Seriously.
Sidenote: Did you know that this girl does not even have a Broncos jersey? Shameful, isn't it?
Kimberly Jordan Daboo
You have Broncos PJs but no jersey? That's just wrong!
Kendra O'Daniel Thiel
The only acceptable outerwear I have is a sweatshirt. Not great in SoCal where it is still in the 80s. (Which is a tragedy all on it's own, but I digress….)
Bobbie Green
Yes it is!! I wish I wouls have known that Chris was in Denver last week!
Ashleigh Thiel

Kendra O'Daniel Thiel
My parents got Sam one but I missed out!

La-z-boy makes a recliner with removable panels. You could have one for each sport (they are still working on NFL licensing). http://www.la-z-boy.com/Collections/XZipit/
