The Type-A Parent Conference evolved from the Type-A Mom Conference, the first of which was held four years ago. It was the first blogging conference I’d ever liveblogged. It was the first blogging conference I’d ever even attended. I thought it might be interesting to take a look at how the conference schedule has changed over the years – what topics we were talking about in the beginning versus what we’re talking about now. What has changed? What has stayed the same? It’s really very interesting.
Here is a list of the conference sessions I’ve liveblogged at Type-A over the years, starting with the most recent conference in 2012. I may or may not update this post each year afterward…

I think the most fascinating changes are what we’ve talked about at each annual blogger town hall meeting. We’ve come a long way, baby. And I like that we’re adding more dads into the fold, so we can all be included under the heading of “parent bloggers” instead of segregating off mom bloggers and dad bloggers. Oh, and there’s the little matter of my liveblogging skills getting more and more polished as the years go by…sorry if some of those earlier posts are more painful to read.
Thanks so much to Kelby Carr and every member of her Type-A team that has made these conferences possible…and successful! I continue to learn so much each year, and I’m sure you do, too!
