Where to Find the Best Grocery Coupons
Do you ever see people saving lots of money at the grocery store by using coupons? Do you wonder how they get so many coupons? Do you ever tell yourself that you really should start using coupons, too? There are many ways to obtain coupons for your favorite products.
The best source of coupons is still the Sunday newspaper for your area. Also, a good point to keep in mind is that you should try to get the newspaper with the largest circulation for your area. Not all newspapers have the same coupons each week, and usually the best coupons will be found in the newspapers with the largest circulation.
If you intend to use coupons regularly, you might also want to consider getting more than one newspaper each week. This allows you to have multiples of the same coupons and to be able to save more money on your favorite products. I found that by calling my newspaper office, I could get a significant discount by subscribing to multiple copies of the Sunday paper. I’ve also found that I always save way more money by using coupons than I spend to buy my Sunday newspapers. Keep in mind that many coupons are cyclical though, which means that you won’t find coupons for the same products each week or each month.
Another increasingly popular way to obtain coupons is via the Internet. There are several sources available for printing coupons. Some of the most popular sources are coupons.com, smartsource.com, and redplum.com. The coupons on these sites are updated and changed regularly, so be sure to check the sites frequently. Often, manufacturers only allot a certain number of online coupons and once that many have been printed, then the coupons are no longer available. Also, new coupons are added frequently, so if you don’t check back regularly, you could miss out on coupons for some of your favorite products!
Additionally, many manufacturers have printable coupons available directly on their websites. Usually, you can find these by visiting the homepage of the manufacturer website. Look for a tab that says “special offers,” “promotions,” “discounts,” “coupons,” or something similar. Or often there will be a box that says “click here for $2 coupon” or “get your coupon now” or something like that.
You can also do a web search for a particular coupon that you might be interested in by typing it into your search engine. For example, you could type something like “xxxx coupon.” Another way to find some great coupons is by searching some of the many online forums and blogs. Often there are links to great coupons that others have found and posted. A couple of my favorites are couponmom.com and commonsensewithmoney.com.
One disadvantage of Internet coupons, whichever of these sources they are obtained from, is that you are usually limited as to how many you are allowed to print. Most of them can only be printed two times from each computer, and some can only be printed one time. This means that unless and until the coupon is reset, you will be unable to print any additional copies.
Also, coupons can often be obtained directly from the manufacturer. If you love a product, send an email or a letter to the manufacturer and tell them that! If you always use a certain brand of something, send an email or a letter to the manufacturer and tell them that! If you are disappointed in a product, send an email or a letter to the manufacturer and tell them that! If you would like to have coupons for a certain product, send an email or a letter to the manufacturer and tell them that! Often, manufacturers will respond to these communications by sending coupons for free products or for money off of their products.
Now that you know of several great ways to get coupons for your favorite products, you’re ready to get started on saving lots of money! Good luck!!
