Where to Find Twin Birthday Deals
When I heard Disney was offering Free on Your Birthday this year I thought to myself, now THAT is a real twin discount! A child ticket is about is about $63 which meant we would save over $120 per day on tickets to one of the parks. I checked airfare and locked in 4 tickets to Orlando from DC for only $150 round trip each…the trip was on!
Now that we are back I’m wondering how in the world I will top that next year. Well, I won’t. But I can still find some twofer deals. For a family of four, any place that offers free on your birthday is giving me the real twin discount – two for the price of one.
So far everything I have found relates to food but that’s ok because everyone likes to go out to eat for their birthday. When twins get free on their birthday it’s a double treat for them and for the ones footing the bill! There are so many restaurants that offer something free on your birthday that for this purposed I researched a few national chains and a few that are local to me in the DC area.
- Baskin Robbins: join the birthday club for a FREE 2.5 ounce scoop of ice cream on your birthday
- Bob Evans: sign up your kids under 12 for the birthday club and they get a free kids meal on their birthday.
- California Pizza Kitchen: register online and kids under 10 will get a FREE CPKids Meal during the month of their birthday.
- Cold Stone Creamery: register for the birthday club and get a FREE creation on your special day.
- Denny’s: Go to the Denny’s Kids Site and in the right corner you’ll see a button for the Kids Birthday Club. Click and download the .pdf . Bring the completed form to Denny’s before your child’s birthday and they will get a free kids entrée and dessert on their birthday!
- Red Robin: FREE burger on your birthday when you sign up in advance for the club.
- Uno’s: sign up for the email group and get a FREE personal pan pizza on your birthday
So, based on all this information you could take your twins to breakfast at Denny’s, lunch at Bob Evans or California Pizza Kitchen, dinner at Red Robin, and choose either Baskin Robbins or Cold Stone Creamery for dessert on their birthday. And for all of that you would enjoy a true twin discount.
