Event Attendee Terms and Conditions

Attendee Terms & Conditions

Any person, media representative, speaker, sponsor, or exhibitor who is present at a Type-A event (the “Event”) automatically agrees to the terms and conditions set forth below (the “Terms and Conditions”). These Terms and Conditions apply to each person (the “Attendee”) regardless of whether or not they have received a formal registration. Speakers and sponsors may be accountable for additional terms and conditions as described in the Speaker and/or Sponsorship agreements they’ve entered into separately with Type-A.

Influencer Media Group, Inc. (“Type-A”) reserves the right to render, in its sole and absolute discretion, all interpretations and decisions in connection with the Terms and Conditions and to establish further regulations binding upon the Attendee as may be deemed necessary to the general success and wellbeing of the Event and/or any person(s) affiliated therewith. Type-A’s decisions and interpretations shall be final in all cases.

Registration Badges. The Attendee’s registration badge must be worn at all times during the Event. Access to the Event facilities will not be granted to those without proper credentials. If an Attendee loses, misplaces, or forgets his or her registration, a replacement badge may be issued at full ticket price.

Age Restrictions, Allowances & Expectations. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Attendees under the age of 21 may not attend receptions at Events unless prior written consent is obtained from Type-A, the hotel or convention center, and the reception Sponsor. In some states or counties, law may prohibit anyone under 21 from entering reception areas.

Attendees under the age of 2 years old may attend for free. Attendees over the age of 2 years old must be registered with a full-price pass to cover that Type-A and/or it’s Sponsors will incur for the child’s attendance at meals.

Type-A understands and appreciates that some Attendees cannot attend the Events unless they are able to bring their children. Type-A honors parents by allowing children to attend Events. In return, Type-A expects that Attendees with accompanying children will honor the other Attendees, many of whom have gone to great lengths to arrange for childcare at home, by not allowing their children’s behavior to disrupt the other Attendees’ experience.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Exiting sessions when your child is loud (whether unhappy or happy noises);
  • Situating your family to the side or back of session rooms with children who aren’t held/seated. They are welcome to play on the floor and roam, so long as it’s not distracting other Attendees;
  • Not allowing children to play with toys that make noises and/or flash lights, or watch videos without headphones.

Due to liability constraints, Type-A does not offer childcare options, toys, or equipment for children at events. However, Type-A welcomes Attendees traveling with children to contact the Event hotel or convention center to make arrangements for children. Type-A will work with Event hotel or convention staff to accommodate the arrangements you’ve made with them. Type-A also encourages Attendees traveling with children to connect with local Attendees to arrange for equipment (carseats, toys, cribs, etc) and childcare (private babysitters). Finally Type-A encourages Attendees traveling with children to connect with one another to arrange rotating schedules and equipment sharing.

Agenda Modifications. Type-A reserves the right to modify the Event agenda at any time and without notice.

Refund Policy for Event Registrations and Sponsorships. All Event registration and sponsorship sales are final and nonrefundable. A registration may be transferred to another individual, provided that this individual is not already registered and the registration is used for the same event (same date and location). There is a $50 fee to transfer the registration. This must be done by the deadline stated on the registration form, and approved in writing by Type-A using the email address registration -at- typeparent.com

Audio and video recordings of Event presentations are not permitted without the prior written consent of Type-A. All requests for press passes must be made in advance of the Event to registration@typeaparent.com.

Acts Beyond Control. Attendance at the Event is subject to acts of God, government authority, disaster, or other emergencies, any of which make it illegal or impossible for Type-A, the Event hotel(s), or convention centers to provide the facilities and/or services for the Event, or make it illegal or impossible for the Attendee to utilize the hotels or convention centers for the Event. A registration may be cancelled for any one or more of such reasons by written notice.

Cancellation. In the event that the Event cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of Type-A, Type-A shall not be liable to the Attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. Under such circumstances, an Attendee may choose to have their registration fee refunded in full.
