2017 Annual Conference Recap – That’s a Wrap!

Last week was a whirlwind of sessions, sponsors events, networking, and fun in DC at the Type-A Parent Annual Conference.

Thanks to our Sponsors:

We couldn’t host amazing events like this without the support of brands, agencies, and solution providers who bring us interesting new products, fun parties, and good meals. We thank the sponsors from this event:

Thanks to our Speakers:

New attendees tell us that they come to Type-A because their friends have told them that the content is stellar. Our speakers bring their A-game to the stage, delivering inspirational messages and step-by-step guides to building a media empire. Here are the speakers that made this year’s event one to remember:

As you read in my last post, my company was handed the reigns at the conference, and we jumped in to learn alongside attendees, support them, and hear what they had to say about the event and the future.

We heard so much GREAT feedback! We’re excited about putting those ideas into motion and getting you the tools, resources, information, and relationships you need to build your businesses.

I asked our attendees to share their feedback on the event, and they had some interesting take-aways.

Here are some of our attendees, speakers, and sponsors and their thoughts on the event:

Type-A has always been one of my favorite conferences. The community, the willingness to help and be helped, the sharing of knowledge and drive - it's unlike any other conference. I left DC with brand new ideas for making my business better and making myself better in this space. Can't wait for next year!

Being a seasoned blogging and online business conference-goer, I thought I'd seen and heard it all until I attended Type-A that is. I was welcomed with open arms and made connections I know will last for years as we encourage each other to succeed with our blogs.

Type-A has an excellent community and offers some of the best content at any influencer marketing conference. I always leave with great connections and a lot of new information to help me in my business.

This was my first Type-A conference, and I’m so excited to see how it evolves with its brand new owners. I got to meet several bloggers that I have known only online for years! I truly enjoyed all of the actionable info I got from the sessions, as well as the laid-back, intimate vibe you don’t find in other blogging conferences. It’s easy to see why so many bloggers are loyal to this conference in particular, and I’m looking forward to next year already.

Type-A to me is like a family reunion! Not only do you get to reconnect with friends, you make a ton of new ones! It's info packed with so much inspiration to get you wanting more, and ready to kick your blog up a notch! Lots of one-on-one with brands as well!

Type-A is where I finally found my people, my tribe.

As a sponsor, Apogee always enjoys going to Type-A to get quality face time with some of the influencers we typically only get to connect with over email. It has also proven invaluable for creating and cultivating new influencer relationships to help promote our affiliate programs.

As a loyal attendee and liveblogger-turned-occasional speaker, I can honestly say that the session lineup at Type-A DC was one of the best so far. It may not seem that way if you only read my blog posts written during each session, but that's because there was so much subtext that couldn't be captured in writing alone. The sponsors I spent time chatting with seemed genuinely interested in creating meaningful relationships, and I can't wait to work with the handful that really resonated with me. I was proud to be a part of the event, and I'm looking forward to next year in Chicago.

Christina Gleason

Type-A in DC was a real eye-opener for me. It seemed like you were curating the speakers and topics just for me. I had so many lightbulb moments I can't begin to share them all. I look forward to future Type-A conferences.
