Upcycle Your Content

Reduce Your Work: Upcycle Your Content

Jenny Guy of Mediavine will join us on Day 2 of the Plaid St Annual Conference to share a productivity method as part of our Beginner SEO Academy.

Is your existing content earning and performing as well as it could be? Learn how to identify top performing posts and make them mobile friendly, lengthen content without repetition and use SEO and other resources to keep readers on your site.

Optimizing existing content is as important a blogging task as creating new content.  This session will teach you how to go through existing content and identify top performing posts seasonally, then optimize them for SEO and revenue.

An Interview with Jenny

Question 1: What is your favorite part about presenting?

I love the opportunity to meet so many people all at once and get new perspectives on a topic from their questions and feedback.

Question 2: What are you most looking forward to as a Plaid St presenter?

The Plaid St community is one of my favorites on the blogging conference circuit. From my first conference, they welcomed me with open arms, which is the Plaid St standard. When I come back to Plaid St, it’s always a reunion with some of the fiercest people in the blogging world.

Question 3: Can you offer a tip to attendees to make the most out of their experience at a conference?

TAKE DETAILED NOTES! Not just at sessions, but with all of your meetings and random encounters. You won’t remember the conversation you had about mineral water in the elevator with that brand rep unless you write it down, but when you reference it in your follow up email, they’ll remember it and YOU. Use every edge you can to make yourself stand out.
